Physics is a great teacher.
Every force has an equal and opposite reaction - Newton’s third law of motion.
Odds are you are not a physicist, BUT you are someone who is capable of incredible things. One of the best lessons I have ever learned and apply every day is that in order to achieve greatness and reach your goals, you must apply an equal and opposite effort to reach those goals. You have to make the decision every day that you are going to do exactly what it takes to become the person you want to be.
Kobe quote 🕊️ ”Those times when you get up early, and you work hard, those times when you stay up late, and you work hard, those times when you don't feel like working, you're too tired, you don't want to push yourself, but you do it anyway. That is actually the dream” 🕊️
He is not saying that working hard is fun. The point is that in those hardest moments, that is the true separation between great and average, champion and loser, employed and couch surfing.
Everyone is capable of getting what they want. Absolute desire and pursuit have always outweighed talent. The odds that you were born less cabable than others is slim, but even so, the change you can make in your life RIGHT NOW towards this job hunt will push you further than the “talented” Georgia Tech grad who is still sleeping in daddy’s basement.
